Fee Waivers

There are many different types of fee waivers students can access as students in Wayne Township. Click on the title below to learn more about the different types of fee waivers.

College application fee waiver

Students who are applying to a college or university may qualify for their application fee to be waived. Students must meet at least one of the following indicators:

  • Student has received an ACT or SAT fee waiver.

  • Student completed the textbook assistance application through the Child Nutrition website and was approved for textbook assistance.

  • Student is a 21st Century Scholar

  • Student is in AVID or JAG

  • Family receives public assistance

  • Student lives in federally subsidized public housing, a foster home, or is homeless.

  • Student is a ward of the state or an orphan

If you meet any one of these qualifications, BD students can access the form here / BDU students can access the form here. Email the signed document to adam.pearish@wayne.k12.in.us. We will then upload it to your Naviance account so we can send it to the colleges and universities in your application list.

SAT / act fee waiver

Students who sign up for the SAT/ACT may qualify for their testing fee to be waived. Students must meet at least one of the following indicators:

  • Student completed the textbook assistance application through the Child Nutrition website and was approved for textbook assistance.

  • Student is a 21st Century Scholar

  • Student is in AVID or JAG

  • Family receives public assistance

  • Student lives in federally subsidized public housing, a foster home, or is homeless.

  • Student is a ward of the state or an orphan

Ben Davis HS students can apply for an SAT/ACT fee waiver by going to bit.ly/BD-fee-waiver.

Ben Davis University students will need to contact Ms. Molly Cordes to receive a fee waiver.
